Hello there.

I'm looking for the original adaptation channels for a VW Golf 3 AHU engine.

Specifically, channels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I would appreciate your answers.

I was particularly interested in channel 4 because of the injection start timing. I'm wondering if the original control unit also has a value of 32768 at an angle of 13.1 degrees.

32768 are original values used by the engine control units during calibration.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I have 5 brand new, still in their original packaging, adjustment channels available for €12.99 each.
Everyone also has a nice "32768" included.

Does that help you?

Best regards, Rainer.

PS: It might help your readers understand your post better if you stated what you're trying to achieve. Right now, it's a bit confusing. Also, "13.1°" doesn't tell us much: Is it in relation to the crankshaft angle (KW)? Is it before or after Top Dead Center (OT)? At what RPM? What engine temperature? Under what load? Is the engine running or not?

"Sorry, 13.1° BTDC is the injection timing before top dead center. I wanted to compare it with a Golf 3 that had an aftermarket engine control unit (cheap tuning) installed."

Hi Markus,

Yes, and when are the 13.1 kW from the operating temperature supposed to be reached?
Take a look at the values you're talking about, and you'll see that the injection start point varies between 0 and 15 degrees before top dead center (BTDC), depending on the operating conditions.

Engine tuning boxes usually do not alter the fuel injection timing.

Best regards, Rainer.
