Hello,

My Golf IV sometimes has the ESP light illuminate.

When I turn off the engine and restart the ignition, the error disappears, but it comes back again depending on the situation.

"At VW, they told me there was a problem with the pressure from the brake booster."

My question:

Can the pressure be adjusted again, so that the brake pressure is okay, or does a new brake booster need to be installed?

Does anyone know about this??? VW wanted to adjust it on the computer, but I'm not entirely trusting the statement.

Can someone confirm this?

Das könnte auch deine Ursache dein, poste doch mal deinen Fehlerspeicherausdruck.

Nach Tausch des Bremslichtschalters ist das Problem bei mir nicht mehr aufgetreten. Bin aber noch in der Testphase.
