Another adapter issue?

Hi everyone,

Although the VAGCOM adapter 2.1 works reliably on my laptop, I'm curious about the program's behavior when you exit a control unit (engine, ABS, etc.) using the ESC key.
While disconnecting and reconnecting the device is possible, any new attempt to access the adapter (e.g., selecting a test function or another control unit) results in an "COM port not available" error message.

The LEDs also indicate the reason: LED 3 normally only lights up during communication with the vehicle, but after the ESC withdrawal, it stays on constantly – meaning the COM port is blocked because DTR is high and RTS is low.

Everything works normally again only after closing VAGCOM.

Is this the case with other adapters as well, or is this just a quirk of my specific parts?
