Hi,
If anyone is interested, I found them on eBay this morning.
You should contact the seller and ask them which engine the parts are actually for.

Hi Thomas and everyone else,
I'm also currently considering changing the nozzles.
But 150 flakes per piece (!) is quite a lot, isn't it?
And then there's eBay. There, it's either a hit or a miss.
'With replacement nozzles, am I just getting refurbished ones, right? Are they as good as new? And would I get a warranty on them from, say, the Bosch service center?'
Best regards.
David.

Hi,
I think you misunderstood something.
They all cost 150 euros.
Otherwise, he would have had to conduct four auctions.
I can't say whether the refurbished products are as good as new. I've only read that they sometimes reuse the casings.
and the "actual" nozzle was replaced with a new one.
I'm not really sure about that.
Greetings,
Thomas. -----------------------------------------------------

Hello,
'He has a flat tire - that's 600 euros!'
Outrageous price gouging - you won't find parts for more than €350.
The injectors are reconditioned industrially in a central plant by Bosch - why should they be inferior to new parts?
Regards,
Jürgen.

NO.
The provider states:
NOZZLES - Available for immediate purchase, 1 available. He (I think) means the entire sentence! Isn't that logical? (because 1 is available).
I just checked. A new one costs €199.52 from VW.
The engines with the MKB, ALH, and AHH codes all have 90 horsepower.
If anything is incorrect, please correct me .

I think you're right, the price is for all 4. 'Per piece' refers to a single auction.
Well, those definitely won't be an option for my 1Z...

Hi Doc,
I think you might be able to use those in your 1Z as well.
They shouldn't have any holes larger than the ones in your current ones.
The ALH is actually the 1Z!
See you later.

The injectors have an opening pressure of 220 bar. Mine, for example, in my AFN, only have 190 bar. I think it will definitely work, but how it will work is the question.
If you need one, 150 is definitely a bargain. It even includes the third one with NHG! And that one costs a fortune, way more than 150 EUR.

Hello!
Speaking of which:
"Does anyone know where I can find 0.216 size injectors for a 5-cylinder TDI engine, specifically 3 normal ones and 1 with NHG (Nitrogen High-Grade), preferably used and at a good price?"
I would like to install this instead of my tuning box.

Just so you don't end up needing other pistons. Actually, the combustion chambers should be adapted to the injectors.

Hi Varianti,
However, there are tuners that use exactly these nozzles and, of course, adjust the software accordingly, and it works.
Okay, I can't confirm that the engine will last as long as it would with the correct nozzles, but it's acceptable.
Allegedly, the spray pattern of these injectors is similar to that of the injectors used in 1.9 TDI engines with VP37 pumps.
http://www.tuneline.at/presse/BugsBeetle/story16.htm
(at the very bottom)
I also think there are enough people here in the forum who have these injectors installed in their 110 or 90 hp diesel engines.
Of course, a few modified pistons aren't a bad thing, and I agree with you. Especially when it comes to the longevity of the engine.
@ Georg
You will have a hard time finding nozzles like that.
When I first inquired about the prices of the nozzles (my replacement nozzles) at VW, the salesperson also told me about that.
However, significantly fewer of the 150 horsepower Caravelle models were sold compared to the other Caravelle versions. So, you'll need to find someone who has driven their car into the ground, is stripping it for parts, and selling individual components.
The second problem is likely that when such parts appear at car parts dealers, they are immediately sold abroad.
However, if you install the nozzles without having your engine control unit (ECU) adjusted, the idle speed will increase, and the soot buildup will likely make it look even worse.
The next problem arises when you tell/show this to your TÜV inspector. I'd be interested to see their reaction.
Well, but nothing is impossible.
If you manage to do that, you can share your experiences.
See you later.

Hello everyone,
The 0.216 nozzles were not only used in the Caravelle; they were also found in the Volvo 850 TDI and the AUDI 2.5 TDI 5-cylinder engines. To my knowledge, the VP37 injection pump was also used in these engines. I can't say anything about the fuel spray pattern, but it seems that the newer .205 nozzles are 5-hole nozzles, and I believe the .216 nozzles are also 5-hole nozzles.
The injectors from the 6-cylinder TDIs with a 2.5-liter engine probably won't fit. Even if they were mechanically compatible, they would almost certainly have a different opening pressure, as they are designed to work with a VP44 injection pump.
The idle speed won't increase; why should it? Even with a significant 10-cent tuning adjustment, which creates a similar situation for the engine control unit (ECU), the idle speed is still regulated. (Assuming that the ECU is still capable of regulating the idle speed, and that a too-large additional injection volume doesn't reach an undefined operating range.)
Here's a tip for everyone who's running the 10Cent tuning and experiencing idle instability: Increase the idle speed using VAGCom. Even a small increase of 20 RPM can make a big difference.
Best regards from the automotive world.

postscript:
The TÜV (German technical inspection authority) is a major hurdle... Aside from that, larger injectors are probably the most inconspicuous way to increase fuel flow to a TDI engine. Or, rather, the second most inconspicuous method, after mechanically shifting the induction coils of the injection pump.

Hi Georg,
This is new to me, that the nozzles were also installed in other vehicles. However, this opens up completely new possibilities...
The idle speed would definitely have to increase. A friend of mine uses these injectors and a tuning software.
His LL speed also increased.
(It would be good if he could read this too.)
It kind of makes sense. If the injectors inject more diesel when the engine is idling than the .205 injectors, then the idle speed will automatically increase.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
So, less diesel flows back through the return line, and fuel consumption increases.
Are you just planning to replace the nozzles, or do you want to make other changes as well?
How many kilometers does your Ibiza have?
I've now reached 135,000 km, and at this mileage, I think that part is likely to fail... or I'll go to an auto parts store to get an ATM (Automatic Transmission Machine) test.
Well.
See you later.

Hi Georg and anyone else who might be interested,
I forgot something small.
If you're getting new injectors, you'll definitely need a different clutch. The stock clutch will slip for sure.
The gearbox should still be able to handle the power for a while, but the clutch...
It's guaranteed to make you sleepy.
Okay, see you later.

Hello Thomas,
The engine speed does not increase within the limits I specified because the engine control unit (ECU) is REGULATING the speed.
It's more likely that the increase in RPM you experienced with your friend's engine is due to the Tuneline modifications. Under certain circumstances, it might not be possible to maintain the stock RPM with .216 nozzles; you might need to increase the RPM to stabilize the idle.
New clutch? Hmm... I didn't really see the .216 as a way to significantly increase power, but more as a replacement for my current combination of cheap tuning and a moderately adjusted tuning box. The torque should be around 300 Nm, and I don't want to go beyond that. The injectors simply offer, in my opinion, a better approach to providing more fuel within the optimal timing window.
The current combination of 10Cent tuning and a tuning box might seem ridiculous to many, but in my case, it allows me to avoid a significant problem with jerky behavior when the tuning box injects additional fuel based on the mass airflow sensor (MAF) readings.
