I have a Golf IV AJM model, manufactured in 2001, with 3 glow plugs located in the water flange.
As far as I know, the heaters should be switched on via relays when the inlet temperature is below 5°C and the coolant temperature is less than 50°C.
Just checked with an outside temperature of 0°C and a cold engine to see if there is actually power reaching the light bulbs (using a test lamp). The lamp is not lighting up.
I have already tried the following:
Intake air temperature read out with VAG-COM in the cold state, the values in measurement block 7 are quite consistent. Adjustment diagnosis performed and lamp connected to the terminals --> lamp flashes intermittently. Incandescent bulbs with a 40W lamp
verified --> also OK.
Are there any other parameters that the control unit takes into account besides the temperatures and what is in measurement block 16?
I have already read several topics but haven't found anything suitable.
die Drehzahl bzw. Klemme DF. (== Last der Lichtmaschine)
Wenn der Motor im Leerlauf tuckert, kann die Lima nicht genug Strom liefern, daher werden die Teile dann ausgeschaltet. Sicherlich hast du im LL gemessen ...
Also Frau an das Pedal, min. 1500 U/min drehen lassen (den Motor, nicht die Frau) und dann nochmal messen.
