Does the 10Cent tuning also work with PD engines? I haven't found any information or posts about it. If it does, I'd like to try it out. I have a 2001 Passat with a 96kW PD engine.

... concise and to the point --- NO.

It only works with VP engines!

Hello,

I drive a car with a 150 horsepower engine and a 10-cent tuning modification. Torque and responsiveness have significantly improved!

Regards,
Andre.

How did you do that?

...I disconnected the temperature sensor plug. I added a resistor to pins 1 and 2. Done. The problem is that I relied on a tip regarding the size of the resistor.

Wow, and that's happening at ALR. If your fuel tank melts, have fun!

Are you absolutely sure about pins 1 and 2?
In the AXR system, pin 1+2 is the signal for the display, and pin 3+4 is for the control unit. To achieve the desired result, the resistance should be applied at the STG (Schweißtransformatorgerät).

The connector for the fuel temperature sensor only has 2 pins that can be bridged using a resistor.

Hello,
I'm also interested in learning more about tuning for the PD (presumably referring to a specific device or system).
Will I leave the plug unplugged, or should I connect the cable in a loop?
Which pins does it connect to?
What should the optimal resistance value be?
Does a switch need to be installed here for the 10-cent tuning?
'How much more power does this tuning provide for a 130 HP PD engine?'

@bertil, could you please specify the pinout of this connector? Specifically, which terminals should I connect the resistor to?
Does the plug stay connected?

Of course, this also applies to everyone.
and all other electronics professionals.

I understand that this tuning might come with certain problems, but honestly, it's a company car, so I don't really care. I just want it to be relatively inexpensive.

Has anyone ever measured the electrical characteristics of an analog common rail injection system and knows how it's constructed?

Perhaps someone has a small circuit diagram.

PLEASE PLEASE

I think this might interest a lot of people.
