Post29-10-2007, 10:08    Subject: Connection Diagram for Injection Start Valve (VW Engine 1Y) Quote
I installed the identical fuel pump from my Seat (same engine 1Y) into my Golf 3 Diesel. Since then, I've been experiencing rough running and misfiring. Could a misconnected valve for fuel injection timing be the cause? The colors of the two cables on the Seat pump are different from those on the VW pump. How do I test the correct polarity?
