Replacing injector nozzles in common rail injectors (Articles)

After rebuilding the PDE nozzles, the reinstalled pump-nozzle elements must be adjusted, and the correct function must be checked using the idle speed control / switching time deviation (VCDS diagnostic system, measurement blocks 13/23 in the engine control unit)! Measurement block 18 (PD statuses) should also be checked for plausibility before and after the renovation.

Caution: Disassembling PD components requires verschandeln and precise work. The instructions in the video should be followed carefully, as failure to do so could damage the PD components during disassembly.

When reinstalling the rebuilt pump-injector elements, new gasket sets must be used.
