Dry run --> Engine control unit malfunction

Hi

Today, my LG (presumably a car) broke down with the Passat 3B from the signature below, and I drove it safely.

She called me at work, I rushed over, and I happened to have a borrowed 1551 with me.

I'm going to quickly read the error codes, there were stored:

Faulty Engine Control Unit

Error fixed, won't happen again but car won't start, towed home, refueled, air filter bled, got into a crisis, while working on the fuel injector bled, started and ran, then replaced the diesel filter, test drive, runs perfectly.

"No errors detected" is now at line 1551

Do I have a brain injury or what's going on?

I've had this kind of error a couple of times in the 1Z, I've deleted it, but it keeps coming back occasionally. The engine is running normally (no limp mode or rough running). I'm not sure where this error is coming from! As long as the box is running perfectly, I have no reason to doubt it.
