Hello everyone,

I'm a complete beginner, so I'm going to start with a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to:

During the scan, no label files are specified/found for the MSG and climate control units, while label files are specified for the other six existing control units.

Can this be completed somehow, and is my hope justified that the environmental conditions will then be displayed to me during the MSG?

Vehicle is a T4 V6 (AMV), Part number: 022 906 032 C

I am grateful for the support.

Best regards, Stephan

Whether environmental conditions can be displayed in the error codes depends on the specific control device, not on the label files.
Maybe you mean the 'usual ranges' for the measurement blocks instead.

Since the VAG part number in your STG is already present in the corresponding label redirection, I assume that the corresponding file will follow at some point.

Hi Rainer,

thanks first.

I had been hoping to get information about the driving condition when the error occurred. This could potentially provide an indication of the cause. If not, then it's a shame. Typical ranges are likely something else icon_question.gif

Other information regarding MSG, such as part number, code, and operating number, is also listed elsewhere. This applies to the air conditioning unit as well. Now, given that the model has been on the market for six years, a malfunction is more likely than the possibility that the label files are unavailable.

I'm just curious, how does displaying the label files actually provide any benefit? Sorry, but I'm just not seeing it clearly.

Best regards, Stephan

In some display values in measurement blocks, VAG-COM/VCDS needs to determine the meaning, which is what is meant by that.

An example is the fill level of a diesel particulate filter.
The engine control unit here only provides, for example, 8%, but it doesn't specify what the 8% refers to. This could be a flow rate, a load, or simply the filter's fill level.

With the label file, VCDS can then state that the filter's fill level is 8%, otherwise it simply displays "8%" without any further information.
Furthermore, various information is included in the label files, such as permissible encoding variants or adjustment ranges.

Hi,

I have found label files on Rosstech, including one named "redirect", which likely enables the use of the AMV machine.

022-906-032-AXK.LBL

02-01.LBL

I have correctly placed them in the "Users" labels, but the label file is not being displayed during the scan. What am I doing wrong?

Best regards, Stephan

02-01.lbl includes...

;022-906-032-C ; AMV: (7D)

...therefore, no label file exists and nothing appears to be there, as can be seen on the following page...

http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Control_Module_Maps

...is to create a representation for advertisements such as 'Label file: None' or 'Forwarding failed'.

Understanding Question:

Are these files unusable?

Am I completely off track? Please excuse me, but if so, then an explanation might help me.

As for how you see it, the AMV hasn't been captured yet.
So, I'm sending out the template now, and then there will definitely be one soon.

Whether the AMV could be identical to any other, one would have to without
can't see well.

The AKX is a US model, and the AYL is only available in the Sharan.
not on the bus....

I understood that it was already processed because it was a redirect-.lbl file. However, I diligently made the maps and attached the scan and sent it. Let's see what happens.

That with the AKX was, surprisingly, something I knew - is the Eurovan

Following the "better late than never" approach, we are now finally able to provide the label file for the MSG of the T4 V6. This needs to be said to wrap up this thread. icon_smile.gif is included in the current 10-update.

Greetings
Stephan
