Hello fellow diesel mechanics!
I finished and installed the '10-cent tuning' today. The result: the car drives like always. You should be able to tell that it's supposed to add 20 horsepower, right?
It doesn't smoke, it doesn't misfire, it actually drives like normal.
What could be the cause? Who knows? Is there a solution?
Everything was made exactly according to plan.
VW connector with cable.
12-volt switch in series.
150-ohm fixed resistor in series.
Connect a 2.2 kΩ resistor in series.
1N4148 diode, 2 pieces, antiparallel.
I soldered all of that to cables 2 and 3.
result: 0, performance more or less.

I might also imagine that he's not performing well, but the times speak for themselves.
On the contrary, if I remove that 10-cent piece, the engine runs more smoothly and quietly.
Acceleration from 60 to 90 km/h in 3rd gear in approximately 6.0 seconds.
Adjusting the speed from 60 to 90 km/h in 3rd gear takes approximately 6.8 seconds.
I can adjust the potentiometer however I like, but it doesn't change anything; it stays at 1000 ohms or 150 ohms.

To clarify:
All pump cables must initially run continuously from the input to the output connector, just like a standard extension cable without any interruptions.
Even when connecting the tuning device, no cables are interrupted or rerouted across the circuit board; instead, the tuning is simply implemented as a kind of "adjustable short circuit" between cables 2 and 3.
I suspect that your circuit looks different somehow. Because it seems to be working, but in the wrong direction (which is causing DZR timing issues). Gruß Ulf

If everything is properly connected, there should be no loss of power compared to the original setup.
At maximum resistance, the power gain is minimal (or zero, according to some measurements). Gruß Ulf

According to his diagram, the diodes are connected in an anti-series configuration instead of an anti-parallel one, which means the device cannot function properly.

"Antiparallel" means "antiparallel".
Connect diodes in parallel.

Try connecting the rings towards the potentiometer and the other diode towards the direction with the ring on the diode, pointing towards the pump cable. Let's try it like that.
These are the diodes.
Cable number 2 from the pump, then the switch is connected in series.
Go to the potentiometer and set it to a fixed resistance of 150 ohms.
