Hello everyone,

I am looking for the location of the diesel engine control unit (J248) in my 2005 Touran with the BKD engine, as well as the pinout diagram for the connectors.
I thought the J248 would be similar to the J220 in the middle water tank.
I haven't removed the plastic trim yet because I wasn't sure how to do it, and I wasn't certain if it was actually located underneath. If it is underneath, what's the best way to access it, and how do I remove the trim?
Can anyone help me with this?
Where can I find the pinout diagram?
The engine control unit part number is: 03G 906 016 HK.
Component and version: R4 2.0L EDC G000AG.

Best regards,
Micha

Taking the water tank off.

- Peel the sealing strip from the metal edge and apply it to the engine compartment.
- If necessary, remove the retaining clips of the impeller housing (the plastic cover).
- Remove the windshield wiper arms.
- Detach the wind deflector from the windshield.

et voilà... the control unit.

Wow, thank you, that was fast.
But before I can even start, I need a plan for the plug.

Does anyone have a link they can share with me?
I am particularly interested in the connections for the G70 mass airflow sensor and the N18 EGR valve.

Best regards,
Micha
