Ibiza 6L | Incorrect Odometer

Hello everyone...

I'm having a problem with this vehicle (Seat Ibiza 6L, Year of Manufacture: 2008, Engine Code: BTS).

After the vehicle had been standing for approximately 3-5 months and the starter battery was completely dead, the odometer in the instrument panel showed approximately 20,000 km less after replacing the battery. In normal operation, both the distance and mileage counters function correctly.

Display in KI = 12'687km
Effective mileage = approximately 31,700 km

Does anyone know about this problem? Can I somehow increase the effective mileage using VCDS? Do you need any further information about the vehicle?

Per VCDS is da leider garnix machbar.
Auch der Freundliche kann da nix machen.

Could the 10,000-unit display be defective, such that only the two right-hand vertical bars are being activated from the 3rd?

wenn Kulanz seitens des Herstellers/Importeurs ausscheidet, bleibt vermutlich nur ein neues Kombiinstrument.

Kann man ja per Segmenttest prüfen. Glaube aber, dass die Displayansteuerung so war, dass dann generell noch weitere Segmente ausfallen würden.
