Okay, I've now acquired some sensors, and I will provide the answer here for all users of search functions/engines.
6-pin sensor, e.g., 4B0 907 503 or 8E0 907 503:
Supply voltage: +5V
Output: Voltage signal, proportional, active angle: 120° (8E0)
Pin assignments: 1 = GND (usually brown); 4 = Signal; 5 = +5V (often black); 6 = possibly PWM for other sensors.
4-pin sensors, e.g., 1T0 907 503.
Supply voltage: +5V
Output: PWM, proportional, frequency according to. Printing (200Hz at 1T0).
Pin assignments: 1 = GND; 2 = +5V; 3,4 = PWM.
