I remember reading something about this here before, but I can't find it again, and I'm not entirely sure about it.
Are there any Motor Start Gauges (MSGs) or programming solutions that prevent a motor from starting until a certain value X of oil pressure is reached?

I don't want to change or modify anything; it's purely for debugging and, occasionally, out of curiosity.
Best regards,

Hello,

I am not aware of any analysis of oil pressure specifically for the starting process. However, some engine control units only allow the engine to start when it reaches a certain minimum speed (and hopefully, therefore, sufficient oil pressure).

Best regards, Rainer.

Thank you, that's how I remembered it from here as well.

However, I find it questionable whether this fuel injection lock is actually (only) implemented in the software for oil pressure reasons?

Or are exhaust emissions playing a role again? -> The lower the starting speed of the first injection/combustion, the worse the exhaust values are likely to be until the idle speed is reached...?
