776 No communication

What's new?

I've searched and searched, but the error can't be found anywhere in the database.
The exact details:

STG 6N0 909 901
Gateway K<->CAN 0001
Encoding 00000.
00778 Steering angle sensor (G58)).
49-00: No communication.

Okay, I thought, it must be the sensor for the ESP, who else would need the steering angle??? But since I don't have ESP in my T4, why is the control unit detecting this sensor ? Should the TCU not be configured in a way that it doesn't search for something that doesn't exist anyway ?

The message doesn't worry me at all, but why is that?
