The electric fuel pump can be activated using the selective actuator test.

Alternatively, for many TDIs, this setting can be adjusted in the engine control unit via the basic settings (channel 35 or a similar function in the drop-down list).

Quick question: I just installed a CAYB (presumably a fuel filter bypass adapter) on my Skoda Praktik. It only has two connections on the diesel filter! Where does the diesel go to vent now? So far, I've only encountered diesel filters with four connections in VAG vehicles.

A few data points and a quick error scan might be helpful. To the best of my knowledge, a CAAB is installed in the VW Bus T5.
You need to search for it in VCDS under "Actuator Diagnosis."
