Hello,
The DPF is now empty and back under the car. The removal and installation took 2 days, mainly because we had to keep getting different tools.
I was once again grateful for a fully stocked toolbox!
I followed your instructions.
"Expansion of the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) for the Passat 3C with BMP engine."

Great.
Here are the notes I have:
Without removing the AGR valve, nothing can be done. I disconnected the "exhaust gas outlet" from above using a 10mm open-end wrench with an adapter for a 40mm Torx bit.
If the AGR valve has been removed, the top surface of the DPF is directly underneath it.
and thus the first temperature sensor (SW17), the oxygen sensor (SW22), and the first connection for the piping of the differential pressure sensor (SW17).
Up top, everything was done with adjustable wrenches, but down below, a proper open-end wrench (slightly bent) had to be used on the differential pressure sensor connection, and the whole thing was heated up with a torch. The open-end wrench can only be fitted after the PDF has been partially unscrewed.
I detached the driveshaft from the transmission using a multi-tooth wrench (M10), which made it much easier.
To flush it, I sealed the end of the tube with a spray nozzle cap and the lower pressure connection with the original pipe and tape. Then, I attached a 3/4" hose and clamp to the temperature port and started the water flow.
Then, for the first time, I modified data in the engine control unit.
In channel 12 of the adaptation settings, the ash value was set to 4g.
Now I am observing when the regeneration process will be initiated again.
Best regards,
Jens
