Do you need to register the battery after replacing it in an Audi A5?

Unfortunately, we were unable to find any information on this topic specifically related to the A5. For the A6, the new battery is programmed in control unit 61. Is that the case with the A5 as well?

The new battery should be coded using VCDS.
