Air conditioner not working.

Hello everyone,

My brother has an Octavia 1Z bJ 2013, MKB CFHC. Recently, the air conditioning stopped working. I had a climate service performed on the vehicle to check if there was enough refrigerant in the system. Result: Everything seemed to be okay. The system is airtight.

There is also voltage at the air conditioning compressor. Also at the pressure switch. If I disconnect the plug on the pressure switch, the fans start to run. Is this normal? Now my question: Is the compressor defective? In my opinion, everything points to this...

Do you have any other tips on what I can check?

Did you measure the voltage while the compressor was under load (i.e., when the compressor was running)?
Did you check the belt pulley? Is the inner part rotating or is it stationary?

No, I only measured it with the plug unplugged.
