Replace AVF coolant regulator

Coolant temperature too low, highway speed approximately 70 degrees.

Temperature sensor replaced, no change.

Perhaps the coolant regulator is not working correctly anymore.

Can it be replaced on the AVF without disassembling the alternator and its bracket?

Yes, definitely. It can be done completely from the top.
To accomplish it without rushing, in just 20 minutes.

Attention! Often, the retaining clips for the thermostat are made of plastic and attached to the connection fitting.
broken. Sometimes, these are also the reason why the thermostat stops working.
Remove any potentially found particles.
You can reuse the thermostat housing, but you must first install the thermostat into the engine block before attaching the sealing ring and then the housing itself.

1/4 inch ratchet wrench, 10mm socket, long extension, and universal joint.
When inserting the screws, apply a small amount of grease to them so they stick slightly to the socket.

It can be even easier if you remove the turbocharger boost hose in this area from above.
(2 clip fasteners and one M6 screw) provide more space for the arms and eyes.
