RNS315 Upgrade: Install "Discover Media" Now!

Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever replaced an RNS315 with a new "Discover Media" system in an Amarok (or in another VAG model)?

What I've figured out so far:
1. It fits mechanically.
2. It needs to be rewired at the connector.
3. The component protection must be removed (this can only be done by an authorized service center).
4. Some recoding will be necessary.
If anyone has experience, it would be great if they could share their knowledge with me .
