Polo 9N3 Window Regulator BUS Issue?

"On my 2006 Polo 9N3 TDI, the power windows (all of them) only work when at least the parking lights are on. The problem appeared suddenly. Can anyone explain this? There are no error codes stored in VCDS. A scan of all control units yielded no results."

Weird...

I had a similar issue in a Lupo; sometimes, the dashboard warning lights would turn on, even though the car was locked and NO key was inside .
Also, here, there are no errors to be seen in the VCDS .
The cause was the window lifter motor on the passenger side, and the control unit electronics got wet.

Door control unit malfunction. Temporarily bypassing the power supply improved the situation.

Replacing the door control unit is essentially unavoidable, as otherwise it will be permanently powered. However, it may be possible to make it switchable via, for example, a light switch.
