Hello,
I drive a Hyundai Terracan 2.9 (manufactured in 2001, with 250,000 km on the odometer) and I'm having problems with the injectors. The engine is running very rough.
During an injector test, it was found that all 4 injectors were far outside the tolerance range.
"The repair would cost me approximately 600 euros, which is almost more than the car's value, especially in its current condition. I also don't really want to invest that much money in the car. Furthermore, this would be the third injector replacement within 5 years and 100,000 kilometers."
"I saw that the injector modules from Delphi cost around 50 euros. Can I replace the nozzle myself? And what's the worst that could happen if I reinstall the injectors without testing them and using new software?"
2) Is it possible for the coating on high-pressure lines to detach and cause damage to the nozzle needles?
Best regards.
Wolfgang.
