Hello, some of the VW diesel engines, such as the CFH, have a timing belt that runs in oil and drives the oil pump. There is no information available about a replacement interval. Should the one that I recommend replacing every time I change the timing belt, which I usually recommend doing every 6 years anyway, also be replaced? Passat TDI PD AWX 12/2000 |

As far as I know, there is no specified interval, but this is not guaranteed. VCDS

I agree with the previous speaker. However, I would recommend contacting the vehicle manufacturer. |
