Does it make sense to clean the intake manifold as a preventative measure?
I'm not entirely comfortable with those kinds of additives from LM that you inject directly into the EGR valve.
The car has a new engine and has now been driven 249,000 km.
Hi,
"Note: Anything that dissolves or loosens within the intake manifold first travels to the cylinder head, in front of the valves, and then into the combustion chamber."
It makes sense to visually inspect the parts after removal and, if necessary, clean them.
