I had actually thought about manually setting the value via a potentiometer to approximately 100°C above the pre-DOC value after regeneration started, in order to allow the regeneration process to continue.
This piece of junk requires the workshop to completely remove the entire axle support in order to remove the DPF, which has all the associated consequences. I don't have time to do it myself.
I'll probably be driving my modified Forester for the next two weeks if this issue with the potentiometer doesn't resolve itself.
