Hello everyone,
"Since I'm now using a CBBB engine instead of an ARL, I wanted to ask if there are any ways to disable the EGR system on the CBBB as well. With my ARL engine, I had mechanically disabled the EGR, but I suspect the CBBB engine has some software control over it. Are there any possible solutions?"

Hi there.
Can the EGR valve be turned down as described in the instructions on this page for the 'newer' engines? And for which engines does this apply?

No, if the AGR valve is clogged, you won't be able to see through the tube because it will be completely covered in carbon deposits .

Can I disable the AGR (automatic air recirculation) using VCDS? Is it possible to do this mechanically with a small metal plate, or will the control module (MSG) then throw an error?
Regards,
Steffen.
