Hello everyone,
After 10 years of driving a Dacia Duster (0-270,000 km), and with absolutely NO problems, I finally decided to venture back into the VAG (Volkswagen Group) world and bought an old, used Polo with approximately 165,000 km.
As if I knew, I bought a diagnostic system here in the shop at the same time and have already used it for the first time today.
Polo V 1.6 MKB CAYB
The following problem:
Today on the AB, sudden emergency mode: Error (diagnosed at home):

It's actually possible that it's due to my driving style. The Polo has a very long 5-speed gearbox, and I've been looking at how far I can reduce my fuel consumption over the past few days, as I mostly drive on the highway (90% on highways, the rest in the city). The MFA shows values of ~ 3.5 L / 100 km.
Driving Style: Following a truck, downshifting on hills, extremely cautious driving, U/Min < 2000
Unfortunately, I now seem to have received the bill for it.
What should I do now?
The error cannot be deleted or fixed, and it reappears shortly after.
'The option for regeneration under the default settings (04) is not available.'
'Forced Regeneration during Driving'
How do you do this in practice?
Can I activate this before I leave, or do I have to mess around with my laptop while driving?
How do I ensure I maintain a speed of 60 km/h? Come on, let's go! And use the 4th gear with the emergency override?
Thank you and best regards.
David
