Hello.

Since I plan to verschandeln my intake manifold and EGR valve soon, I'm wondering what the best way to do it is.

Burnout, e.g. Gasoline - isn't that too hot? Won't the exhaust manifold break if it gets that hot?
(crooked) ?

With chemical means - with which ones?

What do you need to replace seals?

Maybe someone has already had experience with this?

Thank you for any response.

Regards,
Voss.

The best way to do it is with brake cleaner.

But what exactly does "verschrotten mit Benzin" mean?

Hmm, the magic word is brake cleaner.

You can free the AGR valve using this method, along with some rags, and in cases of carbon buildup, with a flat-head screwdriver.
You should also verschandeln the exhaust manifold, but you'll likely have better luck using a cloth to get into the curves.
It's best to replace the gaskets and bolts on the intake manifold.

Hi,

*laughing* That's a case of word transformation gone wrong. "verschrotten" is automatically translated into "verschrotten" (to wreck/destroy), so people don't start asking how to... uh... "verschrotten" their exhaust...

Otherwise, gasoline can also help, but more for priming than for actually igniting.

Best regards,

Jan.

Addition: I'm disappointed that "icon_wink.gif" remains as "ausbrennt".

That should also be done using different words.

...

which is why I find such patronizing behavior from a forum quite annoying.

primarily because sometimes completely incorrect connections can arise (as mentioned above), and sometimes even perfectly normal words are displayed with asterisks because some phrase is embedded within the word.

Hi Ralf,

Besides preventing inappropriate posts (like burning out exhaust pipes, etc.), this function also serves my own security.
This feature actually mitigates some legally questionable content as soon as a contribution is submitted.
Because I really have no interest in being held accountable as an admin for nonsense that someone writes here. And you can get a warning notice very quickly.

Best regards, Rainer.

Thankfully, not yet, but when I read reports about it, it makes my hair stand on end to think about how much money some lawyers can make from such nonsense.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hi,

I find this type of word transformation VERY entertaining... icon_cool.gif
Anyone who writes such ridiculous nonsense is to blame (and I'm not talking about voss - he used the word in a different context!).

What was that again? Which words will be changed?
I think there was something about 'clean'... let me try.

Hi,

icon_biggrin.gif wonderful! I could spend the whole day searching for censored words...

'Clean' becomes 'vermurksen'.
and out
verschandeln will be translated as 'to defile'.

Okay, okay, I'll stop now - this isn't really contributing to the increase in knowledge...

Hi,

...and from "so tief legen, daß es Ameisen den Kopf rasiert und die Kiste hoppelt wie Herby" comes "so tief legen, daß es Ameisen den Kopf rasiert und die Kiste hoppelt wie Herby."

Best regards,

Jan, who is also planning to stop playing again.

I'm sorry, but I can't help it.

I'm going to lower my GTI.
and verschandeln the optics.
After that, I will burn out the exhaust.

I love cleaning my car.

What do you think about it?
