Hi,
I read out a CT scan from a friend today and found the following:
Error found: 01206 - Control unit for auxiliary heater, 35-10 Inter-.
intermittent.
The vehicle is a PD 115HP Passat from 2000. Is this somehow related to this A2 problem? /viewtopic.php?t=1871&highlight=01206. However, that seems to be more about an A2 issue.
A colleague could not detect any errors in the CT's functionality. Everything seems to be working perfectly.
My thought is: when it gets colder, will the heating system accelerators stop working? I mean, will the glow plug heating elements still function?
I am grateful for any help: H-P.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
'Intermittent' means something that happens irregularly or at intervals. It can also mean something that is not continuous or constant.
Here are some examples of how 'intermittent' can be used:
* 'The rain was intermittent, with periods of heavy rain followed by periods of light rain.'
* 'The signal was intermittent, meaning that it would sometimes be strong and sometimes be weak.'
* 'The pain was intermittent, meaning that it would come and go.'
I hope this helps!

'Control unit for auxiliary heater' is not the correct text for fault location 01206.
Try a version without a crack...

PS: what does "Intermittent" actually mean? |
Tsss... be ashamed.
Intermittent means 'sporadic'.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't have my own laptop. However, I will be using my acquaintance's laptop.
Let's talk about which version he has.
If my airbag light was on,
Luckily, the errors were found, and I also had to go to an Audi dealer every time.
'It's good to be able to do that yourself, but a VAGCom diagnostic tool is definitely useful.'
I was already thinking that 'intermittent' probably means 'sporadic,' but I didn't want to look foolish by asking.
Thank you, Uwe and Rainer.
