Are all reading spools the same?

Hello, I have the following problem. In my T2 bus, I have a 1Z ignition module from an Audi 80. The pickup coil is permanently connected to the ignition switch of the Audi. However, I only realized this when I tried to remove it with a screwdriver and install it in my bus.
Now, bring me the control unit; the reading coil is defective.
Can I actually also buy a reading coil from a Golf 3? As far as I know, it's separate, or do I need the complete immobilizer control unit, reading coil, and transponder?
I need a very quick answer; I have to go buy one tomorrow because 1 second of engine running is not enough for me to get to work.
