Increase Starting Amount?

Can you reset this value to its original setting if you increase it, or does the increased value remain saved? What other data is affected by increasing this value?

The value can, of course, be adjusted (increased or decreased) later.
Increasing the initial amount, as far as I know, has no further impact on other parameters.
