Hello,
I had my partially painted bumpers and side moldings professionally painted.
Now the paint is peeling off again. What did the painter do wrong?
Plasticizers and fillers were used.
Regards,
DJ.

No plasticizers in the paint? But don't ask me what that exactly is. Gruß Christian

It also depends on the muscles.
If you or a previous owner has applied something like "plastic black" or a similar coating, the plastic will be very greasy, and paint doesn't adhere well to grease.
Therefore, I will only use the original parts that are intended for painting, and because those alone cost 180 EUR, I'm just going to leave it as is.

Hello,
It's likely that the wrong type of adhesive was used, or that the rod wasn't properly cleaned with silicone remover. The peeling paint has nothing to do with plasticizers.
