I own an Audi A6 with standard power steering and a brand new Audi A4 with an S-Line package. According to Audi, the S-Line suspension has also changed the steering. It's supposed to have a different steering rack with a different characteristic curve for steering assistance.

I can only confirm that. Driving with the S-Line is a lot of fun because the steering is also very precise and not too light, it's very direct. In the A6 without the S-Line, everything is designed for comfort and feels very soft.
