I've once again used VAG-Com to measure my values regarding boost pressure, mass airflow sensor (MAF), etc., and I noticed that the actual boost pressure settles about 0.1 bar below the target boost pressure after an overshoot (up to 2090 mbar). The boost pressure is lacking from approximately 2400 - 4000 RPM. Does this indicate a faulty boost pressure control valve icon_question.gif? Because the duty cycle seems to be stuck around 55%. There should still be enough room in the duty cycle range to adjust the boost pressure icon_question.gif.
The fact that my large language model is slowly starting to fail again probably has nothing to do with this, right?

Here's a visual representation.

Hi,

The air mass target value should be 850 mg/stroke, right? 800 is less than 850...
It's possible that the turbocharger pressure is behaving "strangely" due to restrictions related to emissions regulations.
Just do another test drive with the "mass airflow sensor replacement diode" installed, but with the EGR system disconnected (outside of public roads due to potential loss of approval).

Best regards, Rainer.

Take a look at this:

Your symptoms are fundamentally similar.
If the boost pressure is not reached with the normal duty cycle, there can be several other causes besides the VTG vane -> see specialized article icon_wink.gif.

Thank you for the answers!
I'll still try experimenting with the mass airflow sensor. Since my tractor tends to produce a little soot even when running at full throttle, it suggests that it might be lacking some air. Also, I'm about one second short of the optimal value for the traction test (around 7.2 seconds measured). But first, I'll focus on getting the mass airflow sensor working properly.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"MFG" stands for "Mit freundlichen Grüßen," which translates to "Sincerely" or "Best regards" in English. It is a common way to end a formal letter or email.
