Passat 3B/3BG: Differences in Bumpers

Hello, I'm just having a run of bad luck with this new car. This morning, someone rear-ended me right in front of my workplace.

The bumper is torn, and I'm looking for a used one. Unfortunately, I can't find anything specifically for the 3b model, but there are several options available for the 3bg, and some sellers claim they are the same. Has anyone tried this before? I can't see any obvious differences at first glance.

I can give you certainty.
The bumpers ARE different. You only realize this when you try to install a bumper from a 3BG onto a 3B.
Es geht zwar, Du musst aber zwei Halter (vom 3BG) kaufen und mächteig den Dremel ansetzen. Was zum Beispiel garnicht geht ist, die Schutzleisten vom 3BG in den Stoßfänger vom 3B einzubauen. Der Radius ist ein anderer, obwohl mans nicht sieht. AbIt doesn't fit.
