Hi,
Does anyone have information about how the error codes are stored in the EEPROM of the...?
Are the motor control functions implemented? Specifically, I'm trying to extract information from a dump file.
to identify an MSA15 EEPROM and determine which errors are stored.
If I understand correctly, there are some characters preceding the actual error number.
a few bits for the error counter and possibly occasional occurrences.
Before the error block, there seems to be something related to 'Number of calls to the error reading function.'
and to be labeled as 'Number of Deletions'....
In the image, the right side shows a clean system, while the left side hides the following errors:
00532 - Supply Voltage B+ 27-00 - Implausible Signal
01268 - Quantity Adjuster (N146) 18-00 - Upper Limit
01268 - Quantity Adjuster (N146) 19-00 - Lower Limit
00765 - Modulating Piston Movement Sensor (G149) 35-00 - -
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded 35-00 - -
00777 - Accelerator Position Sensor (G79)
27-00 - Implausible signal.
00542 - Needle lift sensor (G80) - 30-00 - Open circuit or short circuit to B+.
01265 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (N18) - 31-00 - Open or Short to Ground.
01262 - Solenoid valve for boost pressure control (N75)
31-00 - Open or short to ground.
00522 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G62) - 30-00 - Open circuit or short circuit to B+.
Best regards, Rudi.

Do you also have a dump containing only one error? That might make it easier to identify the system. With so many errors, it's impossible to tell where one error ends and another begins.

Hello Andreas,
Unfortunately, that's not an error, but I do have a different representation.
The STG (Steuergerät) seems to store 9 error codes, and for each code...
Several 'sub-errors' (1268 with 18 and 19), resulting in a total of 10 errors.
to come about.
The red '02' indicates the error counter.
Best regards, Rudi.
