Is the power reaching the pump? Are the cable connections properly connected?
It could be pretty much anything.
How about checking the methodology?
Power to the pump?
Fuse?
Relay?
etc.

Do you think I would write something here if I hadn't already checked the following?
- fuse checked.
- power is on.
- previously connected externally...
- Relayed was replaced even though the external component is also not working.

Hello,
What does the diesel filter do? Does diesel fuel come out of it?
Best regards,
Günther.

Then you should also mention what you have already checked.
Because I highly doubt that a bunch of clairvoyants can be found in this forum .
If there's power but the pump isn't running, I would say the pump is defective.

Hello Poeler,
Have I understood correctly that the fuel line to the pump is empty? If that's the case, I advise you not to attempt to start the engine. The only thing that will happen is a damaged VP44 injection pump, and those are expensive.

Do you have biodiesel in it?
I once had a similar issue where the gasket on the biodiesel system was corroded and causing a vacuum leak.
Best regards,

What exactly do you mean? Does the pump not start when you plug it directly into the power outlet?
Please provide the text you would like me to translate from German to English. I will then give you only the translation, without any explanations.

The pump is running!
"However, nothing is coming through the diesel filter at the front. Neither is anything reaching the feed line directly behind the pump."

How do I ensure the pump is running at full capacity?
@golfschrauber1981: Please read before writing. The fuel pump is brand new – why would it possibly be defective?
It could be biodiesel, but only if the previous owner used it. Where is there a seal that I could replace?

Hello,
We have discussed this several times before.
There can't be anything obstructing the diesel filter because there's a pump that transfers the diesel from the tank to the filter. The pump in the tank only fills the reservoir. The injection pump itself cannot draw the fuel (there are 6 meters of air above it).
Best regards, Manuel.

Have you ever tried using a vacuum pump on the diesel filter?
Because this pump in the tank is not a pre-feed pump!
It is only intended to keep the dust container full all the time.
You could now also practically draw the fuel back through the ESP's return line.
And while doing that, leave the second man's motor running normally... Otherwise, there won't be any power to the pump at the back, and you'll draw air from the tank. I still think it's the best method.
The best option is brake cleaner, but it might not be good for the ESP system, which is annoying!
And the most important thing is that there is also fuel in the tank. B.Eng (FH) u. KFZ Meister
