Golf TDI Exhaust: 110 kW Performance Upgrade

Hello to all diesel enthusiasts!

'I recently got a Golf TDI with a performance upgrade from ***, bringing the horsepower up to 180. I'm considering having a Hartmann exhaust system installed. Has anyone here had experience with such exhaust systems on a large TDI engine? Does it actually increase power, or is it just for looks?'
