Hello fellow forum users,
Does my AJM now sometimes accelerate without being hindered by the sluggish VTG?
Then I can focus more specifically on the ventilation behavior.
I'm still puzzled by moderately strong, yet noticeable, irregularities.
im Beschleunigungsverhalten ( wellenförmige Beschleunigung ), die ich früher auf Ladedruckschwankungen geschoben habe. SYou are.
but it's still noticeable, especially when the boost pressure control system is working well.
Around 3200 RPM, and even more noticeably at 4000 RPM, the engine offers a significantly better power delivery compared to the range in between.
The peak acceleration values roughly follow the logged curve.
Torque curves, and can be objectively observed when viewed alongside a...
It accelerated alongside a similarly powerful car and, at those same peak speeds, it pulled ahead of the other car.
Here's an example of an MWB 08, 10 log with relatively good boost pressure control, where the...
The amount of fuel injected depends solely on the engine speed curve.

EDIT: There's still a missing MWB 09 log for the actually released quantities.

EDIT End
From forum threads and technical articles, I've learned that, assuming the sensors and motor are completely intact...
The torque curve, starting around 2000 RPM and going upwards, and full throttle, represent the actual 'driving characteristics.'
If, however, the developers can assume that the average driver spends most of their full-throttle time
It's accelerating along that path, so why did they program in two such 'humps' (arrows in the image)?
It can't be due to the fuel injection being reduced as the engine approaches its maximum RPM, because at around 3700 RPM, the actual amount of fuel injected is even less than it is at 4000 RPM.
What do you think, esteemed experts?
Is that:
a) Loveless, mass-produced programming?
b) Is the exhaust or consumption data being artificially manipulated by the manufacturer to meet certain (EU) standards?
c) Have I overlooked any other issues that directly affect the torque characteristic curve?
best regards
