Okay, the first thing I would do is disable the exhaust gas recirculation system.
In my case, this particular thing was the most effective. Before, it often produced clouds of smoke so thick that the sky behind me would darken.
It might also have been due to the fact that the Russian chip was responsible for the AGRV.
In addition, it was glued together. Forget about the larger injectors. You can only use those with the standard engine or with special software. Furthermore, your TDI with a +40 horsepower chip is probably already at its limit, and I don't think there's any more room for improvement. As far as I know, a larger intercooler only really makes a difference when running at full throttle constantly.
Conclusion: Disconnect the AGRV valve. It costs nothing and offers significant benefits.

Where do I disconnect the AGR valve? Unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgeable about engines yet... Don't you think I'll lose power if I disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation system?

I was also thinking that I might eventually install a larger loader so that the vehicle doesn't produce so much exhaust, but if it works well as it is, that would be great.

Okay, on my A3 TDI, the EGR valve is located near the intake manifold, close to the turbocharger hose. It looks like a metallic can with a thin rubber hose attached to it. You need to disconnect this hose. You should then notice that, when the engine is idling, a lot more exhaust gases are being released. It's best to seal the hose with a plug. You'll immediately notice that the engine gains in agility and power. Also, fuel consumption will decrease. The only purpose of the EGR valve is to ensure compliance with NOx emission limits.

Thank you for the explanation... I will let you know if everything works out. However, it will be a while before I can test anything on the engine again, as my A4 is currently disassembled for modifications and repairs.

Oh, poor A4. I hope it will be properly disposed of.
