@ haithamina
Since you have the same car: Do you feel anxious about not being able to pass in almost every overtaking maneuver?

@StreetRod
"On the federal highway? No, not me! But my wife sometimes gets very pale..."
Accelerating even slightly at 140 km/h on the highway is already quite challenging. However, it actually pulls very nicely. In my opinion, this is also due to the verschandeln intake paths.
The DZR test at 2000-4000 RPM (mid-July) indicated approximately 8.5 seconds, suggesting a power output greater than 100 horsepower.

"That's exactly the problem. If a truck is driving in front of me at 80 km/h and I want to overtake on a straight road, there can't be any obscured sections or oncoming traffic for a very long time... It works okay up to 80 km/h, but anything beyond that feels very sluggish... And that's why I think it simply doesn't run well. You notice it in the overall engine characteristics – it's slow and lacks power."
But as I said, I'll continue testing and hopefully be able to post some logs soon.

Timing issues? I mean, Ulf looked into that in more detail before...

Sure, here's the translation:
"Well..."
It is easily possible with the engine to noticeably accelerate from 80 km/h!
Please set the Log 2000-4000 RPM full throttle MWB (3), 8, 11 as mentioned by Ulf. You said that LD and LM are okay, right? That needs to be verified.
I've also posted logs related to my engine, which you can compare.

Okay, I've taken some logs, hopefully they are OK. Each log was recorded in 3rd gear, from approximately 1500 to approximately 4500 RPM. Now I'm curious, probably everything will be perfectly fine again...
Oh yeah, I couldn't find any information about an EGR cooler... And unfortunately, I wasn't able to measure the vacuum pressure because I didn't have a gauge.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts...
Best regards,

3/8/11 looks completely fine. The mass airflow sensor (MAF) reading is slightly lower than usual, but it's still within the acceptable range.

Hi,
I see it the same way as Mullemaus. The values for 3/8/11 look okay. The LMM (mass flow rate) values are even significantly higher than mine. Mine maintains the 1948 mbar LD (line pressure) a bit more consistently, while yours is often below the target value. Also, you don't have particularly large deviations between the target and actual LD values.
Furthermore, the amount of fuel injected based on torque limitation is always less than the amount that would cause excessive smoke. Everything seems to be working perfectly, I would say.
It looks like the car is running normally.

I thought so .
Okay, the timing belt is due for replacement in a few thousand kilometers. Maybe we can find something related to incorrect timing there. I might also take the intake manifold off and see if any sludge is stuck inside. Otherwise, I'm only left with considering the catalytic converter? Checking everything else or replacing parts just based on suspicion would probably be unnecessary if the values seem okay.
Sure thing!
