T5 has the engine code 03G906051A, it's the original engine, manufactured in 09/2007, with 77,000 km (approximately 47,000 miles) on the clock.

Unfortunately, the other Passat from the same year has been in the workshop too many times, so there's little hope of finding an original, old sensor for it.

Alternatively, I could contact VW after the workshop campaign and ask if they could provide me with an old sensor for examination.

In a dealership's service department, this type of replacement typically involves updating the engine control unit (ECU) software.

tlw After the update, a different differential pressure sensor (with or without A) will be required, as the signal appears to be inverted.

I performed a sensor replacement (I'm not 100% sure if I had the non-A version) and received an update from 1184 to 1881. The BMR code is 03G 906 016 EM.

It would be interesting to find a VOR-1881-BMR model that does not have the "non-A" designation.

Alternatively, I could check the BMP (Base Map Product), which is guaranteed to have never received an update (since 11/2006).

I'll see him tomorrow icon_wink.gif.

compared to the significantly better 076 models.

Based on the offset values, the 076 models typically have an offset of 0 plus or minus 10.

could turn the motor on/off, retrain it, and they had a different value icon_wink.gif.
