Hello,

The sum of the injection quantity deviations should be zero with proper idle speed control. Since the "missing" cylinder is your reference point, the idle speed control may not function correctly in your case.

I'm saying that your tax software is buggy and/or has bugs, and the nozzle on the reference cylinder isn't good / the corresponding cylinder is weak (due to lack of compression, etc.).

If it's not a purely cosmetic issue, I would remove the injectors and have them cleaned and tested, along with a compression test on the engine.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hi,

According to the Bosch service department, the injectors should be in good working order.
The spray pattern and opening pressure (220 bar) are good.

I've now bought a compression tester and will measure the compression when it arrives.
If you listen closely, you can hear a high-frequency noise coming from the second cylinder.
Like two nails being hammered together. But it's almost drowned out by the engine noise.

Hello everyone,

Disappointing news...
I took the car to a Bosch service center a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately, the pump was working properly.

Unfortunately, the compression is at its wear limit, as my boss just informed me.
He mentioned approximately 24-25 bar.

I will have the exact results by the weekend, as I am currently attending a training course.
Damn it... One spark plug was faulty and had to be drilled out.

He also mentioned the battery, which has been in the car since 2005.
He/She should get back to me tomorrow.

Now I need to figure out what to do with the car...
