What surprises me is that I just read about this in an old forum thread: apparently, on the 1Z model, the KW marking shouldn't be centered, but rather positioned slightly in front of the center? What's the reason for that?
Could I have a timing issue with my engine? Would it then suddenly rev up very high like with a Startpilot device?

Have you ever tried injecting fuel directly into the ESP from the canister to rule out a fuel supply issue?

And check the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to see if there are any plausible values listed.

Can you rule out any issues with the interlocking system? Are there any foreign objects, debris, etc. stuck in it? Have you ever removed the cover of the Electronic Switch Module (ESM)? It's possible that something may have damaged a circuit board inside the control unit.

Try starting it while it's on an incline... If the starter motor doesn't reach the minimum speed, it won't start.
