Does anyone happen to have a log file that shows the normal operating state of the LD (Load Adaption) system in a V6 TDI engine?
What I don't understand is: Why isn't the missing LD (likely referring to lambda or air-fuel ratio) compensated for by increasing the duty cycle until it reaches the target value (i.e., increases)? It seems to lag behind until the end of the RPM range!
I don't have much experience with LD debate strategies, but I'm very interested in learning more.
Best regards,
Andi.

Below approximately 2000 RPM, no regulation takes place; instead, a predetermined ratio is set.
The overall control strategy isn't exactly perfect. If something is wrong in the system – for example, a clogged catalytic converter, a worn-out vacuum pump, clogged injectors, or a blocked air filter – the boost pressure will already be off. However, when the engine revs up quickly, the pressure always lags behind a bit.

@Rainer
I've now created a log from the start of the injection process. Aside from a few minor anomalies, I think it should be okay. Specifically, the injection starts very early, coinciding with the onset of thrust (but also matching the target value).
Interestingly, the second level contains two pointless jumps that lead to an early part of the game.
Edit: The car had two very brief misfires while idling today. Another observation is that at idle, around 1800 RPM, the engine runs quite unevenly, causing the entire car to rock slightly.
Best regards,
Andi.

Have you already had the NW checked?

'These haven't been inspected yet, and that will take some time. Also, this is my company car, so it's not often available for repairs.'

Okay, the results are in: The camshafts are worn, although not yet by 0.5mm, but the wear is clearly visible. We only removed the left cover, so it's possible that the right camshafts are in even worse condition.
'Also, three hydraulic lifters were also noticeable: they could be pressed in about 4mm with very little resistance, while the rest were hard. The engine was disassembled while it was still warm, but shouldn't any hydraulic lifter be harder than that?'
Since the 0.5mm wear limit hasn't been reached yet, I can only hope that the used car warranty will cover the replacement of the hydraulic components, so I can contribute the hardware costs for the new water pump.
Okay, current mileage: 78,000 km.
Greetings,
Andi.
