Okay, I bought the heating unit, but without a dosing pump and circulation pump for now. After connecting it electrically and checking off the installation items in the GW (presumably a software or system), I got this log file. The menu hasn't appeared yet. Is that because of the missing initial settings? Because I don't want to buy the dosing pump just to find out later that it doesn't work...

Okay, so performing the fuel filling is clear. But how do I know for how long to run it and whether it's successful? Is the duration automatically set? Does the heating system start automatically as soon as the fuel arrives?

Fueling procedure: Disconnect the hose from the heating element. Fill the tank until fuel flows freely without bubbles. Reconnect the hose and start the heating element!

Okay, everything is installed, the pipes have been filled, and the heating system started up immediately after I selected "Heating on" in the FIS (Facility Information System). The timer test will be performed tomorrow morning.
What's not working yet is the "standby ventilation" function. When I select that option in the FIS (multifunction display), the small fan icon on the clock display flashes for 5 seconds and then disappears. The checkmark also disappears from the FIS. What else could be causing this?
When the heating was on today, the interior fan also didn't turn on - but I'm probably blaming it on the high interior temperature because of the summer heat?

Can anyone give me more tips? There are no saved errors.

Could it be that, in addition to what was mentioned above regarding the climate control system, it needs to be explicitly stated that a parking heater exists and that commands should be sent to it? Okay, never mind. I found the problem The climate control hadn't been initialized properly. Everything is working as expected now!

Sure, one more question:

In AP 19 of the climate control system, I seem to be able to change the fan speed while the auxiliary heating is running. However, the explanatory text doesn't seem to match (see attachment!). So, what exactly can I adjust there? Can anyone help me with this? If I understand correctly, only values of 0 or 1 are available?

And can I define where the air should be vented? For example, just through the windshield or something like that?

Today, after being reset, it started up perfectly fine.

Okay, unfortunately no one had any ideas, but I now have some feedback from myself regarding error code 01406 - "no flame detected":

The temperature reading of -48°C can be ignored. Once the ignition is turned on, this displays the value from sensor G62. Apparently, the other control units are not activated during heater start-up, and therefore the auxiliary heater does not receive a temperature reading.

The issue of the missing flame could also be resolved.
Initial attempts to optimize the fuel mixture by adjusting the CO2 level, in order to ensure a reliable and error-free heating system startup, were successful, but they were only a temporary solution that didn't quite ease my conscience .

As I mentioned, the heating system is completely installed with original parts, EXCEPT for the fuel line. This is because it's only available as a package with the engine fuel lines, costing over 60 Euros. Therefore, when I purchased it, I decided to replace it with a Mecanyl fuel line (2mm diameter), which is a known aftermarket solution. My mistake seems to have been simply routing the line from above to the heating system. Apparently, due to vibrations and gravity, up to 50cm of fuel leaked from the line into the heater when it was turned off. This explains the poor starting performance in the mornings.
Now I've connected the line from the bottom up to the heater. The result is a constantly full line and absolutely flawless starting performance with original CO2 values.
Maybe this will be helpful to someone else in the future...

What still interests me is my post about adaptation channel 19. What exactly does the "1" represent there?

I unfortunately have another question about the STH (System). Currently, the interior fan turns on at 40°C. I find that a bit too early; I would prefer for the engine to get warmer first, and then the fan turns on. This setting is channel 16 in the adjustments.
If I change the value and click on "Test," the new value is not being accepted. Do I need to log in for this to work, am I making a mistake, or is it simply not possible?

Successful with what? Temperature change? No. But I don't think it's that bad anymore. It's a guarantee for ice-free windows when you need something quick.
