Regarding the 005 error - likely due to incorrect initial settings or adaptation.
Environmental conditions: Error status: 01100101
and the 01299 - diagnostic interface for the data bus (J533).
004 - No signal/communication.
Environmental conditions:
Error status: 01100100
I see that too, but how can I adjust it?
Furthermore, I'm also having a problem with the auxiliary heater; it won't turn off in "eco" mode when the temperature is above +5 degrees Celsius.
Please help, thank you.

To put it briefly:
Set adaptation channel 43 to 0, then select and activate channel 66 under the default settings.
That, however, has nothing to do with your communication error. There's still something else wrong. Audi A3 Sportback [8PA], 2.0 TDI CR [CFGB], STH mit FB

I tried adjusting the basic settings, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly!
18 strings. Basic configuration. There are only 3 options to choose from!
Retail service.
And fuel pump.
coolant pump
The device is a manufacturer's refurbished model, but the heating function is stuck on and won't turn off!

Please?
You go to channel 18. Then you select "adjustment." Then you choose channel 43. You set that to 0.
Then you leave customization.
Then you go to the default settings. Select channel 66 there, and you're all set. Audi A3 Sportback [8PA], 2.0 TDI CR [CFGB], STH mit FB

Great.

Hello, thank you for the help I received here.
I just received a call from the Bosch workshop, and they said they've found a solution to my problem with the Webasto system, in collaboration with VW.
The auxiliary heater needs another service; there's an issue with the Webasto heating control unit . And then, the heater probably needs to be upgraded again. I didn't even know that the dongle for the same heater still works!
What a mess!

Hello, I'm trying to find some new information related to my problem.
I managed to mess things up with the econ taste again today!
Now, the heater turns off when I press the button!
What I observed regarding the measurement blocks is that both the wireless remote control and the 1533 clock were recognized, but the signal is not being transmitted to the heater to initiate heating.
The ventilation turns on when I use the remote control, but it doesn't turn off unless I press the "off" button. When I use the timer, the ventilation turns on, but then turns off again after 20 seconds. The heater doesn't turn on in either case!

Then either the heater was not properly upgraded (incorrect software installed or an error during the flashing process), or there is a wiring fault.
P.S. It would be nice if you could pay a little more attention to the spelling and grammar of your posts.
Sometimes, there are errors in your posts that make them difficult to understand and require reading three times to grasp the meaning.

Hello, thank you for your reply.
The thing about spelling and also grammar
Okay, now I have a question: what is a Flash ? I just received a call from VW saying they were able to remove the error in the gateway, but everything is still the same!
Could it be that the Webasto software needs to be reinstalled?
Thank you .

Hallo nun ist der touran wieder da aber sie bekommen die Flashcontainer nicht drauf weil sie nicht den USB kabel von webasto haben. Part. 9008487*.
Now someone says that if the dongle doesn't work, you can't flash the device, but Webasto claims it can be done without the dongle!
Have you ever tried this?
The "Flash" device is only there to inform the Touran that it has a newer version of the heating system! (Statement from a Webasto service technician.)
Now I have an appointment with a workshop that has those USB cables from Webasto!

I'm starting to understand absolutely nothing here!
You either bought the official Webasto upgrade kit.
Then you have the dongle and a USB cable to connect the PC to the heating system.
That's all you need, and you can even make it yourself.
So, the cable that the workshop supposedly doesn't have must have been included with the upgrade kit.
Did you buy an upgrade kit? You need a new upgrade kit for each heater. After one use, the dongle is no longer usable.
Upgrading without a dongle and cable is not possible!
The other possibility is that the workshop is trying to rip you off, or that they simply lack the necessary expertise (which I strongly suspect).

Hello everyone who has been looking at this!
I want to announce my graduation despite these challenges!
I went back to VW and had the coding for my gateway done according to TPI, and it worked.
Now, after the Webasto system, a VW-TT flat container should be installed, which would effectively turn my auxiliary heater into a supplementary heater according to the software.
Okay, now the dongle is being used for the second time, and it has been successfully installed!!!
And what should I tell you? The clock and the remote control are broken.
Okay, and now for everyone who wants to lecture me about the dongle and that it only works once.
It works repeatedly, but only for this specific car and also only with this particular heater.
According to Webasto, this dongle, which I received free of charge, was configured for both my heater and my car.
P.S. A good tip for everyone who has an upgraded auxiliary heater and it's broken: Webasto offers a new auxiliary heater + (upgrade software free of charge) with proof that it was upgraded, either from VW or a workshop.
Price for the installation and replacement of a new heating system, with a 2-year warranty, and as mentioned, the upgrade software is included free of charge, with proof that the heating system has been upgraded before. 550€.
Thanks again for the tips regarding the venting.
This topic is closed for me.

Okay, let's go through it again, so you can take notes.
You sent a defective, upgraded auxiliary heater to Webasto and received a new auxiliary heater along with a matching dongle.
So, it was not the same dongle that you had for the first device.
It's clear and not new that the dongle is linked to both the heating system and the vehicle.
And that's precisely why you also received a new dongle from Webasto, which was adapted to the new heater.

Hello, yes, that's correct. The new heater was delivered with a dongle.
"But they had already installed the software, and then a flash update was applied that deleted the previous installation, so it reverted to being just a base unit. Now, it was upgraded again using the dongle, and it's working... okay."
Unfortunately, I have discovered that...
* The auxiliary heater can now only be used as a stationary heater; it no longer functions as an auxiliary heater.
* The auxiliary heater is no longer starting.
Ich habe schon als ausprobiert die Freischaltung über Kanal 6 von 0 auf 1 bringt nicht den Erfolg es steht oben n.v. Unassembled.
Now I always have to manually turn on the heating device!
It wasn't like that before.
Maybe someone has a tip they'd like to share.
