I found the problem with the turbocharger: a defective hose clamp!
The clamp appeared to be properly secured, but it could be loosened by hand.

Apparently, under certain flow conditions, the turbocharger was drawing air directly from the engine compartment.

Hi, to be honest, I find it very unlikely that the turbocharger is drawing in air through the intake side with a loose hose. I think it's more likely that your loader has a problem (possibly a VTG issue) that only occurs intermittently, and this problem seems to be related to the damage on the impeller. (But that's just a guess.)
I would carefully inspect the entire air intake path, from the air filter housing to the filter, for any holes. Then, I would install a new or replacement air filter housing and proceed with confidence.

Everything else is makeshift and might work well, but it's not guaranteed.

The new loader has already been ordered as a replacement.

I also ordered new hoses for the entire system, from the air filter to the turbocharger and back to the air filter. Unfortunately, they were also very expensive. It's a must.

The only thing I didn't order is the oil drain line.
'Should I just verschandeln those, or do they need to be replaced?'

I have reordered the power supply cable.

@Mserge: I don't quite understand how a faulty VTG (Variable Transmission Gear) could cause the impeller blades to hit something.

Okay, I would definitely replace the hose from the turbocharger (TL) to the oil pan... cleaning is always a tricky thing.

The hose connecting the turbocharger to the oil pan has a very large diameter, so it should be relatively easy to clean.
However, the supply line had a very small cross-section, which is why I ordered a new one.

Or have I made a mistake in my thinking?

I see it relatively the same way. I would also recommend replacing the pressure side, as it has a smaller cross-section and is essential for proper lubrication of the charger. Even if the drain port is closed, oil still reaches the pump shaft.

If the pipes aren't too expensive, I would replace them all. By the way, the warranty on new chargers usually only applies if you can prove that both cables have been replaced (at least that was my experience with Mercedes chargers).

The inlet pipe costs almost 40 euros, while the outlet pipe costs nearly 100 euros.

According to the turbocharger supplier, the exhaust manifold does not need to be replaced.
The inlet manifold needs to be replaced, and an installation report for the loader must be available.
